Calm
Breath of Equanimity
A short practice to settle the mind in steadiness, inspired by the Gita's teaching on evenness of mind.
Bhagavad Gita 2.48
5:00
- 1Sit comfortably and let the spine be tall.
- 2Close the eyes and take three slow breaths.
- 3Inhale for a count of four; exhale for a count of six.
- 4With each exhale, release the need for any outcome.
- 5Rest in the space between thoughts.
- 6Return to the breath whenever the mind wanders.
- 7When ready, gently open the eyes.
